General Services & Warranties

General pest control refers to the regular treatment and prevention of common household and structural pests. This type of service is provided by a licensed pest control technician and a licensed pest control company. A licensed company is governed by regulations set by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). We use professional-grade products that are approved by the EPA and regulated by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Our treatments are carefully applied to protect your home while keeping your family, pets, and environment in mind.

The general pest control treatments are covered under a warranty for monthly, quarterly, three times per year and twice per year services only. The warranty covers the treatment on porches, foundation, and inside the home.

Warranty:

  • Full Warranty for monthly treatment
  • Quarterly – 90 day warranty
  • 3 Times Year – 60 day warranty
  • 2 Times Year – 30 day warranty
  • 1 Time Year or “As-Needed” – No warranty

Warranty Coverage:

Treatment around porches, steps, and outdoor access points to create a protective barrier. A full exterior spray around the base of the home to stop pests before they enter. Targeted treatments inside the home, focusing on baseboards, corners, cabinets, and entry points.

We do not offer a full pest warranty on any service plan scheduled less than quarterly. This is because pest control products naturally break down over time, especially with exposure to weather and cleaning. Treatments applied less than every 90 days simply cannot maintain consistent protection, which allows pests to return or reinfest between visits.

Quarterly service ensures active product coverage year-round, which is necessary to qualify for a full warranty on recurring pest issues.

When treatments are done less frequently than every 90 days, pests have time to return, reproduce, and re-establish themselves, making it unrealistic to guarantee results.

We’re happy to treat any issues found during a scheduled service, even on less frequent plans, but a full warranty requires consistent coverage.

Warranty Coverage for General Pest Control Includes:

  • Common Pests Treated:
    • Ants (Interior Treatments Only). Ants found in driveways, flower beds, and yards are not covered under general pest control services. These areas often attract ants due to moisture and organic material, which makes them high-activity zones beyond the scope of standard treatment. Specialized outdoor ant control is available as an add-on service upon request.
      • Warranty Ants
        • Acrobats
        • Rover
        • Pharaoh Ants
        • Little Black Ants
        • Crazy Ants
    • Roaches – German cockraoches are not covered under general pest control because they require a specilized treatment plan. These roaches multiple rapidly, often infest kitchens and bathrooms, and are typically brough in through groceries, appliances, or boxes. Effective control requires targeted treatments and follow-up visits.
      • Warranty Roaches
        • American Cockroach
        • Oriental Cockroach
        • Smoky Brown Cockroach
    • Wasps are not covered under our service warranty, but we will treat them if they are found during the regular scheduled visit. Wasps are not included in the warranty because they are flying insects that can rebuild nests quickly after treatment. Their mobility and nesting habits make long-term prevention unreliable. However, if visible nests are present at the time of service, we will apply treatment to knock them down and reduce activity.
    • Spiders – found in the home are covered under general pest control. We treat baseboards, corners, and other areas where spiders commonly hide. Exterior spiders are not covered under warranty because they frequently rebuild webs and come from surrounding vegetation or outdoor structures, making long-term control difficult. However, we will spray any active exterior areas (such as porches or eaves) during your scheduled service if spider activity is present.
    • Scorpions
    • Silverfish
    • Earwigs
    • Crickets
    • Centipedes & Millipedes
  • Not included in General Pest Control (but often available as add-ons)
    • Fire Ants – require specific mound and yard treatments
    • German Roaches – Need a targets, intensive treatment plan.
    • Bed Bugs – Require heat or chemical treatments and follow up visits.
    • Fleas & Ticks – Often require both indoor and outdoor treatment.
    • Mosquitoes – Treated with misting machine and In2care treatments.
    • Wildlife – Includes raccoons, squirrels, skunks, opossums, and snakes.
    • Bats & Birds – Require exclusion services and often permitting.
    • Rodents – (Mice, Rats, Squirrells) Require traps, bait stations, exclusion work, and sanitation guidance. Control involves entry point sealing, monitoring, and follow-up visits. Rodent control is available as a separate service plan or add-on depending on the property and infestation level.
    • Pantry Pests – Includes grain beetles, moths, and weevils (specialized interior treatment).
    • Stored Product Pests – Often found in pet food, grains, or dried goods.
    • Flies & Maggots – These pests are typically result of an underlying sanitation issue, such as organic waste, decaying material, or improper trash handling.
      • Drain Flies, House Flies, and Blow Flies require source elimination and possibly enzyme cleaning, which falls outside of routine service.
      • Fruit Flies – require identification of the breeding source such as, fermenting produce or clogged drains and often benefit from traps and cleaning solutions. Fruit flies are attracted to the sugary residue, fermentation gases, and microscopic organisms found on the skin of fruits and vegetables – especially bananas, tomatoes, melons, and stone fruits. Washing fruit and vegetables when entering the home can assist with this by removing eggs or larvae brought in on the fruits and vegetables while eliminating residues that attract adult flies. Dry the fruit and vegetables thoroughly, store it in the fridge when possible, and dispose of overripe fruit promptly.
    • Bees – May require relocation by a beekeeper or specialized removal.
    • Gnats – often breed in kitchen drains, potted plants, or fermenting food and respond best to cleaning and source removal.
    • Chinch Bugs – these are turf-damaging insects, not structural pests. Commonly found in St. Augustine grass, they suck moisture from grass blades, causing yellow or dead patches. Chinch bug control requires specific lawn treatments, which are not included in indoor or perimeter pest control.
    • No-See-Ums (Biting Midges) – Tiny flying insects that bite and cause itching similar to mosquitoes. They breed in moist marshy, or irrigated areas, and are most active at dawn and dusk. They require specialized misting and environmental moisture control.
  • Wood Destroying Insects in Texas
    • These insects can cause serious structural damage to homes and buildings and are not covered under general pest control. They require specialized inspections and treatment. Wood-destroying insect inspections and treatments require specialized licensing and equipment and are offered separately from standard pest control services. A formal WDI (Wood Destroying Insect) report is often required for real estate transactions.
      • Subterranean Termites – most common wood-destroying insect in Texas.
      • Drywood Termites – Often infest attics, furniture, and wall voids.
      • Formosan Termites – Form large colonies and can damage structures faster than other termites.
      • Carpenter Ants – Do not eat wood but excavate it to build nests
      • Powderpost Beetles – Infest seasoned hardwoods such as flooring, furniture, and trim.
      • Carpenter Bees – are wood-boring insects that resemble bumble bees but behave very differently. Instead of forming colonies, females bore holes into wood to lay their eggs often in eaves and overhangs, decks and porch rails, fences and exposed structural wood. The tunnels they drill can weaken wooden structures over time.
